On the Sims 2 Deluxe i was using the move objects cheat and...?

Yes, turn the moveobjects cheat back on. Go into buy or build mode and using the hand, click on the baby and delete it. Yep, delete it. Don't worry, you'll get it back and it will be fixed.

Now, SAVE your game. Exit the lot to the neighborhood screen. Now, go back into that lot. Look on the ground by the mailbox. Your baby should be laying there. Have someone in the house go pick it up.

This is actually a way to fix any sim if they get messed up.

Glad you liked it Zpj, if you want to just test it to see that you won't actually lose your sim, you can create a sim in CAS that you don't care about, move them into a lot and try it. :-) Course, that sim won't be glitched yet, but it does actually fix a sim that's glitched -- a lot easier than having to move the entire family out of the house and then put them back into a new one. I will only do that if there are a LOT of glitches, then I'll move the entire family out, bulldoze the lot and put the family into a new house, cause sometimes it's not the actual sims, but the lot that gets glitched up.

Try undo in buy mode. Ctrl + Z a couple of times until it's back. If that doesn't work, load the game. I hope you saved before that happened :(.
