tattoos and disfigurement?

Do the youngsters of today ever realize how they are disfiguring there bodies with tattoos and body peircing . And how its going to look in later life.

Update:

Maybe you are looking in the wrong place but the tattoos that i have seen on older men where all the colours have run into one and looked like a nasty stain and look blo0dy awfull . As for the modern technology that is mentioned it cost about £400 and inch to remove tattoos , and in some cases plastic surgery is the only answer , The holes will be there forever As for why i care , I dont give a toss if people wish to stain there bodies and scar themselves then it is none of my buisness . I was just curios to see if people realised the consequences of there actions and would it effect them if they knew . all i have received is people in denial of the facts so be it.

That is a sweeping statement, also judgemental.

I had my first tattoo at the age of 40. It's not only young people who want body art.

If you are against it fine, you won't have any tattoos yourself.

But don't judge people who do have them.

Its almost the same as wearing some ridiculous clothes all the time and being in lots of pictures with them then looking back later in life. You might not like it but some do.

my grandad has really old, army tattoos-done with ink and pin. To be honest although his body is covered and his hands are covered you just don't notice it.

    No.

    Because there's nothing to realize.

Body art is a creative way for people to express themselves.

Not only do adolescents have tattoos/piercings but so do ADULTS.

Tattoos always have meaning. If you discovered the stories behind some of them, you'd be amazed.

    Their bods, their choice.

It's not going to look that bad I don't think, with today's technology, anything can be changed or fixed up - so it doesn't make a difference now - coz it can be changed and manipulated back.

I got some around 20 years ago and they still look fine.

Why do you care so much about other's bodies?

    Yeah and they love it.

Almost everyone hates how they look when they get old, so why not have a few pictures or holes that brought/bring you joy.
