Summer programs for academically advanced/gifted high school students?
I was wondering if anyone knew of any good programs such as CTY that serve really advanced/gifted high school students, possibly with a high school focus.

Stanford's EPGY is freaking awesome. They have phenomenal summer programs for ppl from the 6th grade through hs as well as year-round online classes. The campus is gorgeous, the classes are challenging & extremely interesting and the profs rock. You're taught by the actual Stanford professors & they're (often v hot) assistants.
Other programs:
*Duke TIP (amazing international summer programs. Do the Scholar Exchange if you can)
*CTY John Hopkins
* Vanderbuilt DPY
Tons of colleges have summer sessions just for high schoolers. Harvard, Princeton, Cornell & Northwestern as just a few of them.
Many of the top boarding schools often have summer programs, but eh....I'm not really a fan. Lots of them make you take class on Saturday, which is not my thing. Interlochen in Mich has an amazing & challenging program, though.
You have to apply in the spring for most of the programs & submit your scores, teachers recs, work samples, all that jazz.....
You can find loads of info on NAGC's site.

My preparation counselor and AP ecu background instructor are the two conscious of the classes and say that they have got heard no longer something yet sturdy comments (different than the criticism of the small dorm rooms and communal bogs) from previous members. the main troublesome ones are at Oxford and Cambridge, and could seem relatively sturdy whilst employing for Ivy League faculties.

Take classes at your local community college.
That's what I'm doing and I love it!
