Your boyfriend / husband rented a hotel room for you on your birthday and he brought his video game console to play?
... and on another day spend about an hour with you, and around 5 playing a video game?
It just feels like he's losing interest if he'd rather play video games than spend time with me.
Am I being irrational here?

The hotel room, yes. The other one, probably. But it's not video games to blame; it's your man. He's not that into you anymore if he would rather spend time in a fantasy world than with you. I'd talk to him about it and, if it doesn't change, I'd find a new boyfriend.

I HATE VIDEO GAMES! all of my guyfriends and guys i have crushes on are obsessed with them and play with all the time, and completely ignore me while they play. i hate it because they seem like different people. so i think its just a guy thing we have to learn to deal with.
