Is Bret Easton Ellis still alive?(author of American Psycho)?

Just wondering,cause James Frey mentions him in his thanks you's(Bright Shiny Morning).

I am wondering if James Frey knew him personally,or was just inspired by his work.

    Yes he is still alive. According to his website he is currently assisting police in an investiagtion regarding a string of missing boy's.

    Yes BEE is alive, put out another book but not near as good as American Psycho, The movie was horrible !!!!
