Carmelo Anthony has been traded to the Lakers for Chris Mihm,

Lamar Odom and a 3rd round 2009 pick.

Its not official yet said Stephen A. Smith but it should be done on Friday how do you think the Lakers will do?

    First of all this is complete b.s. this is just a dream trade of yours second of all theres no such thing as a 3rd round pick in the NBA.

    What up Real Talk,

    First of all there is no such thing as a 3rd round pick in the NBA. Second of all there is no source- and this would be flashing all over Sportscenter. And it wouldn't make sense for the Lakers considering that Carmelo is a much worse defender than Lamar Odom.

    Jerry West is the only GM who would hand the Lakers a superstar in a trade like that and get nothing in return (like he did with Gasol in Memphis).

    Since West isn't the GM of the Nuggets, I don't believe this is true at all. Sorry.

    uh oh. i'm a die hard celtics fan and i just destroyed a perfectly good pillow. this is actually good news for me i guess. the lakers could actually have a chance to make an effort in the playoffs against the celtics next year.
