Have you ever heard of "Fairy bread"?
My Mother in Law is always going on about it...apparently it is bread and butter sprinkled with hundreds and thousands....(sprinkles).....I dont really see that kids would think much of it nowadays though as cakes and biscuits are nicer and more available than they were to that generation....am I right?

Yep, I first heard of it when I went to stay with family in Australia but I've since heard people speak of it in the UK. I've never tried it though, bit too sugary for me! I think it was probably more popular with older generations, my nan used to tell me about the sugar sandwiches and condensed milk sandwiches she used to eat when she was young! I think it goes back to when food was rationed and you had to make the most of what you had.

Are you kidding me??
Fairy bread in the best ever. It was at every birthday party when I grew up, you have to try it! It tastes AMAZING!
Maybe kids nowadays won't like it as much as my generation did. I think it was more of a novelty aswell... you always had fairy bread at parties!
But honestly, I still think it's sooooo good. You really must try it :)
