Girls, have any of you ever had breast reduction surgery?

If so, could you explain what goes on in surgery and if it was worth it?

I had it Feb 2006, 38J to 38C. I feel it is totally worth it as my back pain is gone. I have no regrets.

For the questions, you could either email me and I'll send you "my surgery story" or go to this website, which is very helpful in explaining things to you:

I had a reduction about twenty five years ago and it was definitely worth it. They removed over five pounds of tissue.

The surgery has probably changed a lot since I had it. For the most part you can decide how small you want to go. The incision goes from one side of the breast the underneath and to the other side. There is also an incision up the middle where they remove the areola and then sew it back on. You can not breast feed after this surgery but the sensation is still there.

Also a lot of insurance companies now pay for this procedure they did not when I had it done.

    Good luck to you!

I had a breast reduction ...i used to be a 46DDD i went to a 38C . I have a small frame (not quite 5'4) it worked great for me but it doesnt always work that way for everyone . Mine were and still are very sensitive (and it has been a few years since i had it done). I did it because it was too much weight for my back (it took aobut 7lbs away) . I will say to do your research and definitely think about it long and hard . here is a website w/before and after photo.

my mom did, they just lift your boobs up a little (put them higher on your chest) and stitch them tight so they look small.
