Why won't Obama meet with disabled Veterans in Iraq?

Of course he does, one of his campaign promises is to gut their military bases, and shrink the funding sent to their hospitals and bases as much as he can.

His handlers claim that the Pentagon told him to stay away because his motives were political.

I'm absolutely sure that his motives were political, and whether a directive came from the Pentagon or not, I'm also sure that he really didn't care if he visited the wounded troops or not.

He called them by phone because he was barred because of regulations not allowing anyone who is campainging. He was not given the correct information. Then McCain came out & criticized him when he was following the rules. Watch shows like Keith Olberman if you honestly want to have clear answers & are not trolling. There is nothing he has ever done for you to accuse him of no appreciating the troops. Look up his voting record & also look up McCains. You will be shocked at how much good Obama has done for the troops & how much McCain has done against them.

Obama does not support what the troops are doing in Iraq and knows they don't want to see him. His handlers don't want to risk the possibility of a soldier telling Obama what he really thinks.

The reason why he did not visit them is because they were not there. Why would they keep disabled Veterans in Iraq? I don't know what your source is but I doubt they would keep them in Iraq. They take them out quickly and put them places such as Walter Reed and other hospitals.

What the hell are you talking about? Wounded Iraqi soldiers? Disabled US soldiers are flown out of Iraq to germany or the US.

the pentagon didnt want his advisors and the media going in there because they didn't want it to look poltical.

And then he could of look at the soilders face and said " we lost the war in Iraq your brothers died for no reason you lost your legs for no reason and also the troops surge didn't work or did it work i dunno if it did or didn't I don't support the war oh I support the war now."

the real reason is because the pentagon said his campaign couldnt go with him and take pictures so obama said he wouldnt waiste his time

At the Pentagon, spokesman Bryan Whitman said Obama was told he could go to Landstuhl, but the visit would have to conform to Defense Department guidelines that restrict political activity on military installation. That meant campaign staff would have been barred from accompanying him, he said obama decided not to go

He found out he could not use it as a campaign stop so his handlers and media would not be allowed. Once he found this out he canceled the meeting despite their being ready for his visit.

Quite a guy, but what do you expect from someone who says, "Should the political winds shift any ugly direction, I shall side with my Muslim Brother."

If your going to count all the people in the world he didn't visit the list will be long. Would you have been happy if he had visited them, or would you be posting how he had used them for political purposes??
