Recipe for deep fried green beans?
There was a deep fried green bean recipe in Womens' Day last year and it was wonderful (also had baked green beans on same page). I have lost the recipe and cannot find another to match online. I believe it had pepper, cayenne pepper and some other spices added to the flour.

This is the one I use...... just use a basic recipe for frying green beans then add the seasonings you prefer.....
I have also used a good creole/cajun seasoning mix... it is very good and spicy...
Fried Green Beans...
Ingredients..
oil for frying
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
1/2 cup water
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
2 cups seasoned bread crumbs
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
DIRECTIONS
Heat the oil in a deep fryer or electric skillet to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Combine the green beans and water in a saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil. Cook until the beans are bright green, about 4 minutes. Drain and transfer to a bowl. Cover with cold water and set aside.
In one bowl, whisk the egg and milk together. In a separate bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, cayenne pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. Drain the green beans and toss with flour to coat, shaking off the excess. Dip the beans into the egg mixture and then into the bread crumbs, coating thoroughly.
Fry beans in batches so they are not touching. Cook until golden brown and crispy, about 2 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

We just did this last night. We did asparagus, green beans, cod, onion and a few other veggies. We just used the boxed fish beer batter mix. You can use either a deep pan , or a fry daddy. Set it at 375 degrees, and it takes about 2 minutes once in the oil for the veggies and the fish. Have fun and enjoy! We used ranch to dip the veggies and tartar sauce for the fish, or vinegar.
