Why do you people ask your questions here...?

I only ask questions if they can't be answered by a Google search, or I want personal opinions. I also search Y!A to see if anyone else asked the exact same question before posting (people should do this more often, because it avoids repeat questions).

well to be fair, when u type questions into google, yahoo answers comes up as a link on the first page most of the time. and if u know this is a pretty reliable place to come to to get answers, then u could think to come here instead of google.and besides, this way it is more personal and you're getting direct answers most of the time, they may be explained better.

Well I see you have asked question that you could have googled why did you ask those questions and why are you asking this one?

Because you want real people to answer and you want to hear the different opinions

well i ask questions that i need a bit more advice on... maybe people with more experience? I mean Ive used google alot, but I guess it helps me cause i feel like i need to tell someone something...and I feel better telling them on here where they dont know me, instead of telling someone I trust and them going and telling the world.

When i have a question the first place i go is google. If i can't find it on there then i go to yahoo.

Seriously, I'd rather receive an answer from a person. You get the benefit of their experience, also, and they're not trying to 'sell' you something.

Because in Yahoo! Answers real people answer your questions and you get much more answers.

Many people experience different things,we benefit from that,and it also provides us with the comfort of not feeling alone.

people hope to get opinions. I ask people for critiques on photography or i ask about confusing situations...because google doesn't respond to me... :P

because sometimes it helps to get an answer from a persons point of view. not the technical defenition of stuff.. u know.

but yes sometimes it does get rhetorical. i dont mind tho its something to do in my spare time. :)
