I am having trouble with my scanner?
My scanner is a the CanonScan 4400F and it was working great last 3 weeks or so but when I tried to use it again, nothing is happening.
If I click the buttons on the scanner, it doesn't do anything. When I use the computer, it either says that the scanner is not connect or it could not find the Twain source.
I have done the routine stuff like restarts, reinstall, restart and all that but nothing helped. Also, the scanner has not been hit, wet or any type of destruction.
Thank YOu for the help

You need to uninstall and reload. Do not plug your scanner in untill the install program tells you to. Sounds like you lost your driver some where. Make sure you turn everything off , both computer and scanner. Alot of people leave these on 24 hours and this will cause problems too.

I would check this site.
It is important to not just delete the drivers and software; they must be uninstalled.
Before reinstalling the software, and while the computer is OFF, unplug the scanner from your computer. This is paramont. Follow the install proceedure to the letter.
Download the drivers from the site I gave you, just in case yours are bad.
