How do you feel about the John Edwards saga?

It's an American tragedy. I know from living here in Mexico, politics and mistress's are a "given", at least the people don't make such a big deal out of it. It is very sad for his wife, but who knows the real story?

Maybe next time he'll slum it with the rest of the world & stay at the Ramada instead. Anyone going to the Hilton has to know they'll be watched closely & filmed...especially at the Beverly Branch. Geez! Otherwise, I don't think any of it will really matter in the grand scheme of things. It's not the 1950's anymore...it's 2008 & they're all past the legal age of consent.

Without knowing what really happened I will hold my thoughts on him. If it's true , then let the ball fall where it may. His wife is the pitiful one. She has stood by him. But, tell me what guy in politics hasn't played around. Oh, some haven't been caught yet, but I bet you over 3/4 of them play. It's too bad we can't have a respectable convention and election without the name calling, back stabbing, accusing, kettle calling the pot black,and ect, I'm so sick of all of it that I don't hardly watch any more, The media is electing Obama and my vote won't count anyway. Can you imagine all the money spent on all this junk and dirt digging and witch hunting? This country is in big poop and unless this nation turns back to our creator-------------we are doomed. So why worry? We can't do anything to stop it now.

i'm no longer a democrat, i'm completely self sustaining. i do no longer think of its a party challenge. He became merely yet another cheating alpha male with a based, needy spouse taking part in up the sufferer/martyr place. She picked him and has chosen to proceed to be so i do no longer cry any tears for her. He merely got here approximately to be interior the generic public eye. i think of its possibly the toddler is his, whether actually no longer in a position to show it. i've got no longer heard any new advancements, nor do I care. I merely discover it terrific how a fishwrapper like the Enquirier broke the story while the "respected" shops did no longer. i think of human beings do what they are in a position to to deal with what thoughts get out and what thoughts are squashed. Like this one.

Nothing usually shocks me when it comes to politics, but I have to admit, this really surprised me. I thought Edwards was above this type of behavior. I feel for his wife.

Its an election year so I expect that lots of secrets will get divulged. Some of our presidents havent been very faithful and it didnt seem to bother the public so cant see that this makes much difference since its not even a proven fact.

I think it is not nice at all but if you research our presidents you will find that there was scandal starting back as far as George Washington.To err is human to forgive is divine but don't know if I could do it.

I am sorry about the whole situation; but, that is between Edwards and his wife. It does not lessen his message, a very important one IMO.

It doesn't make him a bad politician. It just means that in his personal life he made a bad choice and some times we do that. Of course that is if it is true which we don't even know that yet.

Oh I don't know McCain baled out of his marriage after his wife was critically injured in an accident, I think that was horrible, then he married someone YEARS younger than him. So I doubt it will make any difference.
