I"m looking for some dance clubs (R&B, Rap, Hip Hop) In Portland Or. We are staying close to Downtown Portland.

Portland is more of a Micro brew & a bar/coffee shop (yes you can drink in some of the coffee shops) kind of town.
No really good clubs to speak of.
Sometimes I also think it is anti-R&B/Rap/Hip Hop because the police and newspapers try to associate the music with violence and other races.
Sorry. Portland isn't exactly a high energy place.

The Zone, The Escape, Baracuda. The Escape is a gay club but its still tons of fun, very lively.
