Can anybody help me plan a Caribbean Senior Trip?
My friends and I are going to try to plan a senior trip, but we have no idea where to start. Basically we're looking for something affordable (our parents won't help pay for it). As long as the beach is nice and the area is safe, we're not really looking for luxury or anything. Also, a drinking age below 21 is definitely a requirement (haha). When's the best time/day of the week to fly (anytime late May-mid August). Is an all inclusive place the best? We're thinking maybe 4 days to a week, whatever makes the most sense. Any help?
P.S.-if what I'm looking for is completely unreasonable and nonexistant, please let me know too lol, like I said I really have no idea. I am working full time this summer and plan to work part time during the year.

Fly in and out in the weekdays and try for a 3-day cruise or less. They can get pretty expensive.

Prices drop after May 1st. The best time to go to the Caribbean is May, June not later than July. Reason being hurricane season starts June 1- Nov 30th. The worst months for tropical storms are August, Sept and October.
You don't want to be caught in a hurricane.
The Atlantis on Paradise Island is awesome. But can be expensive. Worth checking out.
Cancun and Riviera Maya is always a wonderful choice for a good time. Plenty of all-inclusive options. Good prices too.

I also like Dominican Republic for inexpensive trips. Check out the Puerto Plata area for a fun time.
When planning a trip, you want the least amount of time flying, you want to be at your destination as quickly as possible. Check the mid week flights but be careful with to many connections getting to your island.
Lastly, after you have done all your research and narrow down where you want to go, check with your local travel agency for prices. They have connections the on-line sites don't have. With fuel so expensive, the airline portion of your package can get expensive. The travel agencies make deals with the airlines and they get cheaper rates sometimes. I have saved hundreds of $$ with booking with a travel agency many times. Also book lodging and air together (cheaper in the long run) You want transfers from airport to hotel included in your price.
Good Luck and have a great time planning and going)
P.S. I almost forgot, legal drinking age in Mexico or the Caribbean is 18.
Salute! Cheers!

I would suggest going to a hot place in July. The prices are the cheapest because people don't want to go as much.
Also take a red eye flight. And go to a place like Mexico. Sign up for expedia.com and have them send you e-mails if their flights go cheap.
