For a boy entering high school what are good classes to take or volunteer programs to particpate?

in if he wants to become a law enforcement officer after high school?

Does it require a certain GPA?

What type of physical condition is manditory in general? (Only ask because in the olden days it used to be the person had to be 5' 9"...he only 15 and hopefully still growing, but only 5' 7").

    The rule of the height limit, will vary from department to department. As far as classes are concerned. Law Enforcement prep classes usually dont exist in high school level. I would recommend that you continue your core classes, and try to excell in them as best you can. Also, if you are truely intrested in Law Enforcement, look to your local police agencies, and get involved in a Police Explorer Program. There you can do community programs along side police officers, and of course recieve a little training in what it takes and means to be a police officer.
