... the FDIC's 90 troubled banks list? Do you feel patronized that the general public does not have access to this information???

    The FDIC does not report it's ratings on banks, it would be information that could cause harm to the banks that the FDIC is trying to help get fixed.

    There are private companies that rate bank, however, if you want the information, and you can usually get the financials on the banks you use and review them your self.

    I think the FDIC is right to maintain a certain privacy of information.
