    go to meijers.

get a big thing of garlic for $6.

put 1 to 1 1/2 tsp in your mares grain every morning and/or night..

easy as pie and i havent seen a fly or misquito since.

also keeps bugs away from their droppings.

Garlic worked for my horse.4TB spoons daily, to make her smell garlicy, it repells bugs like wonders. Another good thing is to add apple sider vinegar, about half vinegar and half water to her feed. It has really helped my horse. ANother good thing is use a gentle shampoo and bathe her once a week. And I have also found that Pyranna fly spray has worked well for repelling becasue of the strong citronella smell.

    Hope this hels!

I keep a clean barn, use Endure or Happy Horse Fly Spray every evening, and I dont have any fly problms. There is no safe/home remadies.
