Keeping cold water cold?
i'll be going to bed in a couple of hours but i wont sleep well because it's so hot!
my friend told me to keep a glass of ice cold water by my bed and sip it throughout the night.
I don't have any containers made to keep water cold (you know those ones that keep hot stuff hot and cold stuff cold...)
But i have ice..
Any clever tricks i can do to keep my glass of water cold?
Any suggestions will help.
Thank you!

Try freezing your glass by putting it in the freezer for a few hours before fillinging it with ice and water for the night or if you have any empty water or soda bottles, fill them with water, put in the freezer and freeze and then take a frozen bottle of water out every night to keep by your bed to drink from during the night.

Get a bottle of water and a dump a tiny bit of the water out and then close it back up and put it in the freezer. You want to dump some out so that it doesn't explode. then once frozen keep it out for like an hour before you go to bed...it will thaw through out the night and you can drink it as it thaws and keep it cold! i do this all the time when i go to the beach or am playing sports and the water stays cold all day long

Use a plastic cup. Freeze half a glass of water. Before bedtime finish filling cup with water. As the ice melts thru the night, your water will stay cold.
