Currently populations of salmon, steelhead, and trout are listed as endangered or threatened in the state of Washington.

The wild Atlantic salmon is gravely endangered on both sides of the Atlantic. Populations of these remarkable fish are at their lowest point in recorded history and catches have declined precipitously.
