You should not lose your account simply because you switched computers. If you are signed in to your YA account under the right user name & password, you should get to this account. I usually sign in to my MAIL account first (so I know I'm being recognized by Yahoo on the computer I'm using), then go to Answers from there.

I don't understand how you lost all your points because your user ID and password are automatically saved, you should be able to use any computer to access yahoo as long as you use the correct ID and password, it should be fine.

msn does an similar. It thinks somebody else has signed into your account so shuts one login off. soreness in the bum quite in case you employ 2 or extra desktops at a time, the way round it really is to have 2 debts eg name1 and name2 basically upload the contacts to the recent one.
