Can the Lakers compete with the Rockets next year?

Yao has like 5 inches on Bynum

Dorsey will outmuscle Gasol

Ron artest can drive to the whole against all the softies

Battier owns Kobe

T-mac will blow by Vujabitch

Alston manhandles Fisher everytime

Update:

Lakers defense sucks.

Celtics averaged 105.5 against the Lakers WITH ANDREW BYNUM

They are on the same level now basically if the Rockets can stay healthy. Otherwise it's still the Laker's year.

The Rockets play much better D

-Artest will give Kobe Nite mares

-Dont forget Artest also is a 20+ scorer, who is Odom going to guard? he can't stop T-Mac, or Artest

-Bynum might have a bright future, but he's no YAO

-If the Rockets stay healthy it's a wrap, they had homecourt in the Playoffs last year w/o Artest or YAO for almost half the season...

Rockets arnt that good of a team but they arent horrible either but compared to the lakers i think they would never really compete with the lakers.

For sure, if rockets were healthy this year, i thought they could have competed with the lakers! but yao ming, t-mac, ron artest, shane battier, n the rest of the bench can go really deep in the playoffs and possibly make the finals if they stay healthy! that sounds like a scary team to me.

if Yao doesn't get blocked by derek fisher (like how he got blocked by earl boykins) they'll be WESTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS*. I feel bad for T-mac: such a great player; never got out of the first round

    *If they stay healthy

    right with ya.

Quote from T-Mac according to ESPN:

"If this is true, this is definitely what I have been waiting on for 11 years in my career, for a team to really improve and put the talent [on the floor] that I feel that we can compete with the best."

Watch out Lakers and Celtics. and the Jazz too.

you are right, might as well disband the Lakers, they are no better than a blind high school team.
