I am so sorry for your loss. I will pray that God will guide you and strengthen you during this difficult time. Let your nephew know that this loss is devastating to you and that you would like the opportunity to be involved in the child's life. Why did he take him back after all that time? My mom lost custody of me as a child and then won me back but I would have been better off with my grandmother who looked after me when my mother was unfit to do so. Had I stayed with my grandmother, I would have far less emotional scars now. But for the grace of God and his healing, I would be a mess now. Seek Him now and He will give you peace.

Tell them you are available to babysit on the weekends.
One of these days they will want a break and call you.
