Did you have an epidural for L5 Lumbar pain?
I just got my second shot about five days ago...and I think the pain may have gotten a bit worse after the shot. Have you experienced this? I'm supposed to get my third and last epidural about two weeks from now....have you been cured by these shots? I'm noticing that since the shot I think my sciatic nerve behind my right leg is bothering me more....

The epidurals are somewhat difficult for the patient and the doctor. When you get a strong reaction when the injection is given that is usually a good sign that the medication has been placed where it should be. Those injections where this is not the reaction are usually not as good. Delayed pain responses can be from a few things. Talk to the doctor that is doing the series about this. It is possible that the needle may have slightly touched the nerve. Have you tried physical therapy? Working with the right therapist should help you significantly. They will work on posture, muscular imbalances, tightness, and flexibility.
