No widescreen support for RE4 Wii Edition?

Question

AS the title says.   Anyway I got the component cables for my Wii, and changed all the needed settings on the system from Standard to Widescreen, and from 480i to 480p.   Anyway, RE4 looks all pixelated now tho.   I assume that the other factor is that the game has to support the feature.   The PS2 Re4 has Widescreen, I just assumed the Wii version did too.   Its not a big deal, I can change the setting back to standard, it just won't take up the full screen.

Or did I miss something?
