Kaspersky internet security 2009. This covers all types of malware plus it scans your program files to check for missing security patches. Not sure of its detection rates but I know its one of the best. Trend Micro and Eset smart security are probably just a small bit behind. Whatever you choose, stay away from Norton. Don't believe the hype

Has a built in ClamAV antivirus which is great.

It has an easy scheduler do to scans. I have it for

a daily scan as soon as I turn on my machines.

The rates are very very high. It always gets rid of any

potential bad file that has snooked into the computer while

browsing the net.

Spybot Search and Destroy is a free spy ware program.. ITs great. Dont have a virus program. I just use a free online scan and remove from trend housecall when I I think I have a virus..

AVG And Avast.

I think the best is Norton Anti-Virus but you have to pay for that.

Or Mac-a-fee.

I think they are around £35-£50;
