When he is being honest: He feels so lucky to have you & feels that he isnt worthy of having you. This could be a compliment from the guy or this could be him feeling worthless.
When he is lying: He doesnt want to be with you, yet at the same time doesnt want to hurt your feelings.

Well Denise, that usually means that the guy is not interested in you anymore because he may not be attracted to you. To make sure you need to ask him!

Unless he has noticeable low self-esteem, I would say that he feels that his lifestyle is not acceptable in comparison to yours. Kind of like a criminal dating a nun.

either hes not interested and making up excuses or he really doesnt think hes good enuf for you
