new answer format?! like or dislike??

to begin with, i know this is the wrong section, but you're the only ones i care about!

first, has everyone "experienced" the new answer format (and question format)

So do you like it?

just wondering XD

and to make it horsey.. what do you use to PICK OUT a horses HOOF? and on the bridle, what LATCHES the THROAT?.. (haha, these are the questions we ask at camp...)

Update:

i'm with you guys on it, i'm resistant to change and was QUITE happy with the old way!

(though its weird, since adding these details the format is the same way its always been..)

and, the spell check is there, you just have to spell something wrong, then a little bubble pops up on the right and tells you your stupid.. like the paper clip on microsoft word..

Don't like, it confuses me. Because it's all narrow, instead of being all long. I am sooo resistant to change, LOL.

Oh, oh, I know: a CURRY! And a HOCK! That's what you were looking for, right? ;)

I think it's kwl, but this is the first time I've used it lol. I like it better than the old answering format thing because it shows the additional details when you answer a question, and I used to always have to go back, read the additional details, and then go back to my answer, but now I can just look at the top and answer instead of going back, but I haven't tried the new question format thing yet lol.

And to answer your horse questions the first one is the hoof pick, and the second one is the throat latch. lol, you had pretty easy questions at your camp :P

It's different but I like how they give you some tips. I miss the spell check.

Do you like the new answer format?

Now for the questions you asked:

Pick out a horses hoof: hoof pick

    Latches the throat: Throat Latch

    AHHHHH!!!!!

This is my first Question today and it feels so wrong! I HATE that you can't spell check at your own free will! That's my security blanket! I need it so I don't end up making myself sound like a total moron to you guys....!

The only thing positive I have to say about the new format is that you can view the additional details while answering too. I used to have to open a new window of the same question and go back and forth, or just try to memorize everything that the asker wrote there.

*Hmm, weird... I just went back to edit this Q and it went back to the original format... Ya think the yahoo gods heard my cry for help?? LOL Or just a yahoo glitch? hehe*

Ewww! This is my first question of the day...

It's not right! This isn't the way it's supposed to look!

What's happening?? I wonder if everyone else's computer is 'messed' up?

It's NOT RIGHT!! It didn't look like this yesterday!!

*Guess I'm resistant to change too*

Although it's nice to see the additional details while you're answering...instead of going back and forth.

I prefer a hoofpick...but if I don't have one at the moment...I will use whatever is handy. From a stick to a pointed rock, some tool I may be working with, a pocket knife, to my own fingernails if needed.

    The buckle on the throatlatch??

I just joined so I'm still learning how to use this Site. I hope to be of some help on here. I have noticed the pop up, when I answered the Lazy horse question. I had two words mis spell!

This format is smaller type and hard for us old people to read what we're typing...:::Cranks up specs::: Not too kneen on the little bubble telling me it doesn't like some of my words (Like specs! LOL).

Spell checker is off to the right of this window folkies!

I use a hoof pick or hoof knife whichever's handier (BTW these wash rather well in the washer when left in your pocket!)

Buckles are used to fasten the throatlatch on MOST bridles, some do have snaps though.

Now just when I start to get the hang of something, they go and change it. First on FB, which really did a number on me. I'm still trying to figure out how to make certain applications reappear. Now here, too!!!! Waaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....it makes me feel old(er), awfully uncomfortable, and confuses me more than I am already.

Cripes, the darn pencil pop-up just startled the cookies out of me! Is the teacher coming around to smack me on the back of the hand now?

Neigh! I refused at the first pop up, then stormed out of Yahoo! in disgust.

Why don't they do something really useful like get rid of all those annoying advertisments that get in the way when you're about to answer a question? Those ads get right up my nose. Oh, and it looks like I have one misspelling so far - trouble is, I don't subscribe to American English. How do we register our protest?

Yep, I just experienced the new answer format.

    Nope, I don't like it.

    A hoof pick and

    a throatlatch (western) or

    Throatlash (English sometimes)

I am not big on changes when things work.

I do not like the pop up things to the side. Spell check is great but it has been messing up on many words and telling me things are incorrect and they are not.

Not very keen on this but hopefully I can adjust.
