get a job with linden, or get a job in second life for your avatar earning second life money? the first, i would assume from linden's website. as for the second, i believe there are job listings within second life.
as for what else you can do there, the possibilities are quite limitless, though most people spend a lot of time making their avatars do the dirty with other avatars ;)
