Can i use my laptop cam as web cam?

If it's integrated, then the system should already consider it as a webcam. And should be displayed in windows live messenger in the border of your display picture when you're in a conversation window.

I have a dell with a cam, and that's how it works, it also has a tray icon that opens up so i can use the features of the camera.

yes it can be used as web cam for aim and for windows live messenger, just try having a video call with someone and if its not set up thats when the computer will tell u how to set it up

Ya you can, just go on a website to show your cam and a message will come up asking you to Accept or Deny to use your cam and stuff. It should work on Live Messenger too.

yes, you can, use a instant messenger program that supports webcams, such as yahoo messenger...for other purposes besides talking to someone through instant messenger, not too sure
