How do people find you and add you as a contact?
Just wondering... why do people add others as contacts and how do people become fans of the person?
...i mean, can they see all your questions and answers?
can you see which of your own questions and answers the person saw?

Here is how you add a contact or fan
go to their avatar or profile
click on the add as a contact
The other person will get the message saying
Such a person is your latest fan
If you don't know this person
they have seen you in Yahoo Answers
and like how you answer questions
You can add the contact if you want
3 invite or add him or her
2 check out their profile
1 check out their connections and contacts.
If the other person add you as a fan
you will have to make the same decision
Contacts and or fans are added because you and the person
may have something in common
It is suppose to be for answering their questions
and them to you.
When you two connect you can see each other's questions
even though one of you has them marked private.

Hover over the persons avatar and click.
Some people have details about themselves and the type of people they will add.
In some cases you will see their Q&A's in other cases you will not.
You will recognise the same people over and over if you stick to the same section, or you will see people who give you a good answer, or ask a good question.
