I have a question regarding my macbookpro
I am looking for the frog, glass, etc. files. I have a macbookpro on leopard that I am attempting to modify. I have everything important backed up in case of a snafu. I have already successfully changed my trash sounds and some other basic system sounds but cant seem to locate the system alert files. I just want to replace one of them. Where are they? Please and thank you in advance.

I have a feeling that those are actually firmware files which are ROM files (they can't be changed or edited) - someone else asked the same question. They have also been with the Mac since Mac Classic days of the 80's and 90's.
The sound - Sosume is allegedly in reference to a siginificant court case in Apple's history
"Apple has had other connections with Apple records, including some legal issues with their name-- but it was decided that as long as the computers had nothing to do with music/sound, there was no trademark infringement. So when the Apple computer made a sound other than a Beep, they named it 'sosume', So Sue Me. Little obscure humor... and sosume was an alert sound into the late '90's, but no one ever paid much attention to the name..."
