Is it safe defragment my c drive (xp) through vista (d drive)

I'm using xp on c drive and vista on d drive. i want to know that is it safe to defragement my c drive through vista or defragment my d drive through xp.

and d drive ntfs

    In short, Yes.

    In long, both operating systems run on the same type of file system. So they will both handle it in the same manner.

    properly If I have been you i might save it in an externalpersistent. then you are relatively beneficial it won't wander off.Then no count number what happens on your laptop you have the tips stored someplace else.you will possibly be able to additionally save tips in a variety of little flash drives. they are low-value and small. stable success.
