why can't i get caller id on my u-verse tv
when i had dish network caller id appeared on my tv now with u-verse it does not. why?
this should be a AT&T problem

We have U-Verse as well. And I guess it is still in its infancy. We are pleased enough with the programming and price.
But we DO miss out on some of the PERKS that DishNetwork had, that U-verse does not. Like Caller-ID on the TV, and being able to use/access DVR programs on TV#2.
When the salesmen was talking us into switching to U-Verse last November, I asked him specifically about those features. Because I really liked them. And he kept saying "It's not available yet, but it's coming! They are working on getting that feature available by springtime next year" Well....here we are and still NOPE. They are saying it is still in the process and will be "available soon".
So, until then, we wait and get used to not having what we once enjoyed.
