Why is it that the more withdrawn a guy is, the more a woman is attracted to him?

I'm guessing he stands out because he doesn't spend too much time talking all about himself.

If he was showing interest by heavily flirting to begin with, then she is just trying to clarify if he is still interested or has moved on. So she will keep chasing until she finds out otherwise.

IDK if I'm attracted to them, I always fall for my best friends that I really know and trust, but I get curious about closed up guys!? I just like to know why they're like that and see if I can help, even just becoming friends....I guess because I'm really closed up & know it helps that I have a few REALLY close friends that want to listen & I can trust them. It's really hard for me to trust people, even family, so I know how they can feel. Whatever the reason, there's always one there!
