Move to another country, because this one will be finished.

I think he will eventually withdraw troops from Iraq but not right away if he is elected. To answer your other question I think he will win the election sadly (I'm voting for Obama) because of the cluster f**k that is the Democratic party. If they had any sense they would have run a low risk candidate (not Obama and certainly not Hillary) like Joe Biden Wesley Clark or Chris Dodd possibly even Bill Richardson and saved the VP spot for Obama or Clinton. With the way Bush and Cheney ran things over the last eight years any of them would have won handily against McCain. Obama while well qualified in my mind does not look the same to other voters based on the experience question, at times he can come off as a bit of an elitist and last I think there are too many people in this country that are afraid of who he is in that he does not come from the same mold as presidents 1-43 (a sad state of affairs that people can not get over something so trivial in the day we live in). As for Hillary thankfully she is not the nominee because the election would be in McCain's back pocket because she rubs too many people the wrong way..ie. moderates such as myself. Obama still has a shot to win and I hope he does but come November and McCain wins I will not be surprised at all.

Anyone with any common sense that really sees what Obama's about truthfully has to know he is not a good choice for President. I mean after the Reverund Wright's anti America rhetoric (someone who mentored him at the church he attented) and his other dubious relationships has to mean something doesn't it? Also the obvious race statements when race shouldn't be a factor in this election is another reason he is a terrible choice not to mention his obvious lack of experience. The final straw for me is that he does not want to do any off shore or inland drilling of oil and says that if we just tune up our cars, and keep the proper tire pressure that it will take care of our problems. How stupid is that?
So if John McCain becomes President, I will be happy as a junebug. He served his country honorably and has more common sense than Obama, has more experience and is the better man.

It would be important to know who the vice pres would be, since McCain may not live all that long.

Become Canadian. Yes, I would rather risk having my head chopped off by a passenger on a bus than spend 4 or more years under Republican rule. FEAR! FEAR! FEAR! Lock your doors, get your guns, terrorists want to blow up your Honda Civic in particular.
Source(s): I lived in Texas under Bush as Gov and because of that, voted Democrat in both Pres. elections. Looks like I was right. - Anonymous1 decade ago
i'd keep going to work, answering questions, eating and sleeping. there isn't a thing i can do about it one way or the other....
