What does it take to have USB 2.0 under Windows XP?
I installed SP2 immediately after a fresh XP setup on a reformatted blank hard drive yet USB 2.0 is not there, what gives? Did I miss something? It had USB 2.0 enabled once before the reinstall.

It depends on the hardware in your PC also if its over 4 years old you will need a pci card
USB 2.0 is supposed to be built in on XP sp 2.0 if it does not show update the chipset drivers
download everest and see the what the chipset is in your Pc
