They're basically next to each other. It's less than a 2 minute walk. Only a small place called "O'Sheas" is in between them.

About 40 years ago the Imperial Palace was called the Flamingo Capri, and it was part of the Flamingo hotel. It was eventually spun off as it's own hotel.

O'Sheas is just a low stakes casino that was built in the parking lot of the Flamingo about ten years ago. So it's basically the same complex.

I can't believe the standard Flamingo hotel rooms are that much more than the IP. If your friends stay at the Flamingo you can go to the pool together.

Easy walking distance. The entire Strip from the Mandalay Bay to Sahara is only FOUR miles

Hop skip and a jump. You can look at this map and it shows them right next to each other but O'Sheas is between them.

  • LOL, they are so close together that if you fell out of a window of one of them you would land in/on the other .....LOL

Source(s): stayed at Flamingo many times; go rooms are OK but I wouldn't pay extra for them.
