Should I finish Breaking Dawn?

I'm currently on page 196 of Breaking Dawn, and am so disgusted and upset I'm about to cry.

Bella is driving me over the edge.

To those who have finished, or are past that part, I implore you. Tell me if completeing this book will totally ruin the Twilight saga for me?

I'm guessing teenagers aren't so into Bella having a baby. I have a young child, and it made the book mean a bit more to me. I think maybe that's why Stephenie wrote so much about Bella being wise beyond her years and such. Maybe she was trying to make it less weird, but I guess it'd still be uncomfortable for some YA readers.

Well you should always finish what you start. I mean yah Stephanie Meyers established an interesting Lore set up interesting Rules and then sort of spit all over them but you should still finish it.

I was really dissapointed as well, I dont read them my wife reads them and tells me about them. Team Edward Team Jacob? What was that about? Talk about a lame marketing gimmick.

Anyways, you really should give it a chance, I beleive the second half has more of that New moon feel for the characters and not this whole....strange broken character broken rules broken myth feel that the first half has.

you should finish it and come to you're own conclusions but I was highly disappointed with Breaking Dawn. It was a huge let down, and it exposed how bad of a story teller Stephenie Meyer truly is. Sorry...and yes the spoilers are true.

I hated it the minute Bella and Edward were married---and I was on Team Edward! I think it just got way too weird too quickly and I seriously don't know if I want to finish it. I'm on page 600.

My doubts and disappointment aside, I'm going to finish it. I just want to see how it all ends. I think you should go for it. Maybe the ending will surprise us?

HAha I know exactly what you mean!!! It's soooo diffrent from the other books. It's hard to take in. But it ends ok, really. Just finish it. Initially I HATED it, but if you think about it, everything that happens needed to happen. But yeah, not as fun as the other books!! =(

OMG is it really that bad? I haven't read anything yet - just kinda skimmed over chapters one through seven. Ugh.. you're really putting me down in the dumps, girl. I'm, literally, the #1 Twilight fan.. but suddenly, I'm not as excited about it I was a few days ago. I've heard rumors and spoilers and I'm crossing my fingers that they aren't true. Anyways, happy reading! You might change your mind...

I'm in the same position you are and I'm on about page 200, I'm really disappointed... But I think you should keep reading because that's what I'm going to do. I'm pretty grossed out and horrified but I'm hoping it'll get better.
