Can I bring my Desktop Computer into Dubai
I am planning on Visiting family in Dubai in Oct. Was planning on staying for a few months. Can I bring my desktop computer with me ? I understand that there are certain Items that are banned like CD's and DVDs i guess for moral reasons. will they allow my computer or take it?

I think they'll allow you but it should be in the baggage.. But if I were you, I wouldn't bring my desktop as it will just add more weight in your luggage and Dubai Airport is pretty big...

CD's are banned not for moral reasons lol, its because they are PIRATEDD (copied) and sold for cheap in various places in dubai and it's illegla
But if they are music CD's and original then you can
so :D

As I remember you can, and the CD and DVDs aren't banned if its for personal use and its not porn.

Yes, you can bring it with no problem. If it is brand new, in packaging, then you might have to pay duty.
