diary problem????new in writing diary

start it however you want

-for notebook/pen, although it really doesnt matter, find a really pretty nice notebook, they tend to inspire more, and i generally prefer pen, i think it looks nicer, any color, again what you like you should get

-write whenever need strikes you, dont force thoughts into something, there is no reason to write when you dont feel like it

-write for however long you want, i wrote pages some nights but skipped other nights.....but in terms of length in days etc, just write for as long as you want, its your thoughts

-entries "hi, this is...in year 2008" etc, anything works, its not like a formal piece of literature, you can doodle, misspell

-personally with my old diary i kept it unlocked in a bookshelf, no one ever knew. its better to hide it thatn lock it, because if you lose a key, then youre done for

-im pretty sure other countries wont be interested in ur diary, so take it

Write at night, since that seems to be the best time for you.

Use a pen, so that no one can erase and write on it.

You can buy one of the bound journals at Barnes & Noble to get started, but if you keep writing over the years, they become expensive.

You can start on a special date (a birthday, a historical date, your favorite day of the week, the first day of a givn month)

Your first entry can be some information about yourself, or why you want to write a diary, or a vivid dream you'v had, or a movie or book that has impressed you deeply

Hiding places are very personal, because you're the only one who knows where others don't look. It should be near the place where you do the writing, so you'll hav easy access to it.

If you have to ask these questions, maybe you shouldn't be writing one, a diary shoud not be work, it should be somethign you feel like doing. Most that write them just write when they feel liek it, not at a certain time. Were are you that you would only be allowed to write at night. I can type faster then i can write so i write a journal on my computer and use secure password protection to hid it. they do sell diarys with locks on them if your worried aboutsomeoen reading it. As for the type of pen you should use, whatever pen you want....do you think there is some super secret pen designed for diary writing?

Everyone is different. I write as soon as I wake up on how I feel about the world, what my dreams were, etc

Then around 4;00 pm (after school) and about how that went

Then at night. Thats the best time for me to right (night person). I right about my beliefs mainly. And story plots. Poems....

Sorry but i just use regluar pens and pencils and just a journal and write about my life.
