    Yahoo doesnt give best answer.

    the asker or voters do.

the asker may choose the answer they think is best.

whether it be wrong or right.

and the voters do the same.

This usually happens when the question goes into voting at which time anyone who answered the question has a opportunity to vote for their answer as the best one.

Should you run across a answer that either is NOT an attempt to answer or is NOT a answer, you are encouraged by Yahoo! to report the answer. A few example's of a non-answer would be, "Go Google it yourself." or "IDK" or "I like the answer the guy above me gave." or "LOL.. Ha Ha Ha", all of which are in violation for not answering the question.

The idea is to choose the best one, not the ones that aren't right. Besides, you can give wrong answers a thumbs down.

When you got the correct answer and question is a violation. For entering you get one point. Which is BS.
