Most Reliable/Cheapest Cell Phone Provider

My husband and I are moving and our phone contract is up and we are thinking about trying to save money by switching cell phone providers. We currently share 550 minutes and we are with Sprint. I also pre-pay for 50 text messages a month. We have free nights after 7:00 pm and free weekends.

Our current bill is about $70-80 a month. Do any of you use companies and have similar plans for less?

for 2 phones, and what you have...id say you dont pay too much. i pay that for just one phone, but i also have unlimited texting and insurance on mine. i have alltel. i love the reliability of the service, but they are a little pricey, but im hoping they go down because they just merged with verizon. do you have metro pcs where you live? i wouldnt go with them, but if you dont travel a lot they might be a good deal for you because they are inexpensive. but like i said, i dont think you may too much as it is.

T-Mobile does. You get 700 minutes for only 60 dollars a month. You also get unlimited nights and weekend minutes. Here is the plan.

Add 4.99 a month for 400 text messages.

There you have it. 700 minutes and 400 text messages for 65 dollars a month. Add tax and it'll be about the same.

If you sign up for AT&T, Alltel, or Verizon Wireless you'll end up paying MORE than you do now. So just stick with T-Mobile.

We needed a cell phone program 3 years ago and went with "Virgin Mobile USA" phone company and we are very pleased they have different programs.

We use the pay as you go instead of monthly payments. Since we do not use the long distance very often it was the best deal. Go to their web site and read the different programs offered. Best of luck,

I think either Verizon or T-Mobile would be good. As far as the provider with the best cell phone, AT&T with the iPhone is that answer.
