I Have a LCD Screen Problem

The screen has a red line that goes from top to bottom of screen. I have no clue why it does this.

How do I reset all the settings on the monitor. thank you

Update:

it doesnt stay on the screen. just runs from top to botttom. then its gone. happens every once in awhile

    If it doesn't go away on power cycle reset, could be a bad column driver. Unfortunately there isn't an easy way to fix this.

    Your screen is dieing, time to replace it.

    It will only grow out till your whole screen is white/blue/red/black.
