What is a good straightener for my hair?

Okay so I have never had a straightener before. My hair is natually wavy and all my friends think it is pretty so I don't have a problem with it.

Well anyway I'm cutting my hair from 5 inches past my shoulders to almost to my chin.

If I let my hair stay wavy, I will look like a fro-freak, so to avoid this i'm buying a straigtener.

Okay so I have pretty thick, brown hair, and side bangs.

I'm getting my hair cut like Peyton Sawyer from OTH from season 3.

My budget is like under 20 if I can get one for cheap.

Please tell me any styling tips or tips on straighteners.

Please tell me which one will be good for my hair after the cut.

Also if you could find one that maybe dries and straigners that would be good too.

If you have anymore quesions just ask me

Please and Thank You

okay dont buy straighteners that dryand straighten: bad for your hair

my hairs curlier and thicker than yours prob but i use a remington T studio one that about 2 1/4 inches brown with pink plated and its between 30 and 40 bucks. its really good. trust me. 20 dollar straighteners suckk tremendously.

you cna get them at ulta right now for 30 bucks you can get that at target bed bath and beyond linen n things.

Hi! Well my hair is pretty thick too, and if you cut your hair that short, it will make it thicker. It is hard to find a straighter that will actually work well on typically thicker hair for under $20. My straightener works very well on my thick, wavy hair, but it was fairly expensive. It is a small, black Chi.

I had really curly and messy hair that used to be down my back. but then i got it cut a little bit above my sholders. For my straightner (Im not sure about the $) I got something called "Wet To Dry" It's really high tech for a straightner but it WORKS!!! You can set it to straighten and dry your hair all at once. I found mine at a local Rite Aid...

    Hope this helps!!

i've heard that the chis work really well and don't dry out your hair. straighteners don't come that cheap unless you get a really junky one that harms your hair. the chis are over a hundred but worth it! good luck!
