Find some other reason why you don't want to be with him rather than just because there's someone else you like better.

well first you need to figure out if you ACTUALLY like this other guy, don't let go of a great guy, don't break a great guy's heart, make sure you actually want to make that choice of leaving him.

now, if you've gotten to the point where you know you don't want to be with him anymore, regardless of there being another guy, you need to let him know. the sooner the better.

frankly, it doesn't matter how you say it, its going to hurt him. when it comes to breaking a guy's heart, there is no "let down easy". so just be as nice as possible and tell him everything, he'll be alot less hurt knowing the absolute truth.

try to be as honest as possible. you dont want to tell him the cliche' "it's not you, it's me" type of line. but tell him your feelings have changed and grown towards someone else. and although you are breaking up with him, you'd still like to be friends. never lead a man on thinking your are still with him when you are vieing for the attention of another man. good luck =]

i am with someone n i love another... you know what i did.. i break off with my current gf even i m yet with the new girl coz i find that my heart is no longer with her n i dont want to deceive her. i just tell her i wanna break off, its kinda harsh n i really hurt her but i just cant cheat her in 'another' way so i choose to tell her striaght.... what do you think? i hope i do help in any ways...
