What is a Good Way of Learning Quantum 201 Stuff?

I am a home-hobby physics scolar and I would like to bridge between the Science Channel level stuff and the Wikipedia articles. Any suggestions?

If you want to start learning about quantum mechanics, I suggest reading Brian Greene's 'The Fabric of the Cosmos' for a good introduction to quantum mechanics - in the non-math sense. If it still sounds cool, keep in mind that moving on to college-level quantum mechanics is going to mean a lot of math, and not seem quite-so-interesting for a while. If you've taken some calculus and some differential equations, then you can try picking up one of the more introductory texts on quantum mechanics; namely, Griffith's 'Introduction to Quantum Mechanics'. If that seems to deep, try the modern physics/chemistry approach first, with something like Tipler's 'Elementary Modern Physics'.
