Downloaded sims aren't in sims bin!? Tried everything...
I have the Sims 2, Sims OFB, and University.
I have donwloaded like 30 sims, from the official site with an auto downloader.
All the files go to downloads.
I Also leave the installer pakage file in Savedsims folder.
They are not in the sims bin.
I have tried multiple things to no avil.
I removed all of my custom content, tried to do only sims, and it still didnt' work lol.
Help?

Do you click on the downloads after? You don't put it in the downloads folder, you click on it, a blue box will appear, then it will say something like will you download this to the sims 2... and then it should say something like download complete! Is that what you did?

After downloading from the Sims2 official website and double clicking the downloaded file for installation, you have one more step to perform.
Start your game, pick a neigbhorhood to play or the hood you'd like your downloaded Sim to appear in. Next, at the neigbhorhood screen, click the families icon, this opens the Family panel. Next, click Create New Family icon. This will open Creat-A-Sim (a.k.a CAS). Once CAS is open, right next to the icon for generating a random Sim (the pair of dice), is another icon that has six Sims on it, click that icon and then browse away. One last thing, you may have to click the custom content button to see some if not all of the Sims you've downloaded.
