Best AGP 8x Video card
Hi, I have a gigabyte 7NF-RZ Mother board with, 2GB of DDR Ram, and an athlon XP 2800 (~2GHZ).PowerSupply 700W.
My question is that my motherboard is old, so I just can use an agp 8x video card on it. I saw video cards with GDDR2 and GDDR3 Technology, so I dont know which video card choose.
If someone can give me some tips I will appreciate all the help you can give me.

Look for an ATI HD 3850, or an 2600xt. Those are the better of the AGP cards
Personally, I think you're better off building a new comp. AGP cards are expensive compared to pci x16.
anyway...here's a page or two

The first one (3850) is the better of the two
Edit: Yes, you can use a videocard with GDDR3 or GDDR4, or GDDR2, or any with DDR system memory. The two are not related, so they will not have any disputes.

7900GS is the perfect fee, in case you may locate it. often $a hundred. 7950GT is greater. yet another good one is the 1950 professional from ATi. 7600GT is much extra low priced yet not the perfect, yet perfect for cost. regrettably, you will locate upgrading to pci-e may be the perfect course to take because of fact the 8800gt and gtx are outstanding performers.
