iPhone 3g microphone issues
so I got my iPhone today and the mic doesn't appear to be working... I do have a screen protector on it but no other cases.. Is there any thing I can do or do I need to go back to the ape store tomorrow?
I believe that the protector is applied properly an apple employee applied it....
And isn't the mic on the bottom by the dock and speakers?

First off, at silly as it sounds, check your screen cover to make sure it has been applied properly.
There are little punch outs.... one at the top, one at the bottom.
I had a customer who put one on upside down so that the hole wasn't right.. this blocked the microphone.
If you have it on there right, then the next step would be to go to an apple store. Part of the contract between AT&T and Apple is that Apple handles all the warranties on the iphone and they are really good about it. Since you just got yours, they will definately swap it out without a problem. If you would like to call, the support number is 1 800 MY APPLE
